What to Expect From a Group Pilates Class

During class, I will demonstrate and verbally explain movements that may increase difficultly levels. There is always an option to take an easier variation, which is a good idea if you are just starting out.

I don’t tend to include complicated flow sequences as I prefer my students to focus on learning the correct technique. Just listen to the instructions and if you need help – speak up - questions are allowed!

Benefits of Pilates

Pilates helps us to develop a better understanding of our bodies. With regular practice, you will develop a sense of your postural alignment and understand how this may be linked to your back pain and any other issues you may have.

Over time this will create the foundation for healthier joints and better posture, which in turn will influence all aspects of your life.

Pilates is equally beneficial to all, whatever your age, gender or physical condition (my youngest client is 29 and the oldest is 76).

Whatever your goal is – to hit your personal best in your chosen sport or to feel less stiff after a gardening marathon – Pilates will help to achieve it.
